Reunion Giving

Come Back. Give Back. Make Barnard Even Better.

Reunion giving is an important Barnard tradition.

During a Reunion year, many alumnae reflect on their experiences as undergraduates and consider supporting the College with a special gift that is meaningful to them. Reunion support strengthens each alumna’s relationship with Barnard and ensures that current and future students continue to receive the exemplary education that alumnae remember so well.

For many donors, a Reunion gift is above and beyond what they might typically give during the course of a year. Some alumnae choose to commemorate their quinquennial reunion with a more significant single-year gift, a multi-year pledge to be paid over five years, or a special, designated gift that aligns their interests with the needs of the College.

What Counts as a Reunion Gift?

All gifts and pledge payments made to Barnard for any purpose (unrestricted or designated for a special purpose) since July 1st following your last reunion will be counted in your class’s current Reunion Gift total. This includes new commitments made during the current reunion year. All corporate matches and irrevocable planned gifts made during this time period are also counted.
